Over the past couple of days, we played detectives, snooping around our morning routines, pinpointing what fills us with joy, and what, quite possibly, could be keeping us from embracing the sunrise in all its warm, radiant glory. Now, it's time to move from simply observing to actively creating. It's time to design our Ideal Morning Routine!

Remember when we were kids, building fantastical structures out of colourful blocks? It felt like we could create anything from our wildest dreams - towering castles, intricate cities, even interstellar spaceships! What mattered was the joy of building, seeing our ideas come to life, one block at a time. That's what designing your morning routine is all about. 🌆



Step 1: Honor your dreams and your desires! 🌙💤

Just as every brick was essential to our childhood dream buildings, each part of your morning should honor your dreams and priorities.

What matters most to you? What's that one thing you really want to do every day that has the power to make a significant difference in your life, but you just can't seem to find the time for it?

Let's simplify it even more. If you could cultivate just one good habit that would truly impact your life, what would it be? Take a moment to ponder this. It could be related to exercise, healthy eating, self-improvement, career advancement, or even strengthening your bond with your kids. Or maybe it's finding time for your creative passions or establishing a morning reading routine. Want to write a book? Carve out some morning writing time. Training for a marathon? Hello, sunrise jogs! Your mornings, darling, are sacred space for the dreams that are nearest and dearest to you.



Step 2: Visualize Your Perfect Morning 🌙🔮

Once you've identified what you want to work on, what you want to improve, and what truly speaks to your heart, we can start exploring how to make it a part of your morning routine. So let's take a step back and imagine your perfect morning. Picture it as a day when you have ample time for everything on your list, without any stress or rush. Whether it's enjoying a luxurious, long shower, going for an energizing run before breakfast, having a quiet moment with your spouse over coffee, or devoting the first hour to your side-business, let your imagination run wild.

I know there are many possibilities, but the key is to start with what holds the most importance to you and then contemplate how you can integrate even more joy it into your morning routine. Just remember, for now, we're in the dreaming and imagining phase. We'll tackle the practicalities, like finding time and making it all work, later on. But at this moment, I want you to paint a vibrant picture of what your ideal morning could be like.

I really want you to get crystal clear on what you want your perfect morning to look like. Visualize it in vivid detail. You can write it down in a journal or on a piece of paper that you can refer back to whenever you need a boost. In a nutshell, define your perfect morning.



Step 3: Honor Your Authentic Self and Embrace Flexibility 💫🌙

As ambitious women, I know we often find ourselves gazing in wonder (and, let's admit it, a tiny bit of envy) at the superwomen we stumble upon on social media. You know, the ones who seem to have slipped into a routine that goes like this: up at 5 AM, a sweaty workout, a wholesome breakfast, a dollop of meditation, and then blazing through the day without a single hair out of place. Phew!

Admittedly, these accounts can leave us in awe and even inspire us, but they can also summon the green-eyed monster called Comparison. You might find yourself thinking, "Shouldn't I be doing all that too?" But my darling, it's crucial we remember that authenticity outshines any facade.
Each one of us is unique, like a morning dew-drop glittering in the sunrise. Thus, our morning rituals shouldn't echo someone else’s symphony. It should play our exclusive tune, only amplified for a grander impact! 🎵💖

There's no 'one-size-fits-all' when it comes to morning routines. They should work for us, not the other way around. Every day should unfurl at your unique pace, ignite your passions, and most importantly feel absolutely, radiantly you! 💃💫



To give this a try, I’ve prepared a few journal prompts for you. Journaling opens the door to our innermost thoughts and feelings, allowing us to explore them in their raw, unfiltered, most honest form. It's like having a heart-to-heart with your most authentic self. Ready, darling? Here we go:


Journal Prompt #1: What does your perfect morning look like?
Visualize it. How does the air feel? What are the sounds you hear? How does your dream morning make your heart feel light and full?

Journal Prompt #2: What habits or rituals fill you with joy?
Remember, your morning routine should be a celebration of you! Are there specific activities that invigorate your soul?

Journal Prompt #3: How do you want to feel as you wrap up your morning routine?
Should it be like slipping on a cozy, warm sweater of accomplishment or like strapping on a cape of invincibility? Or perhaps something subtly radiant, like a secret smile you carry into your day?

Journal Prompt #4: How does your morning routine serve your life’s larger purpose or goals?
Consider how your morning rituals can serve as a runway, preparing you for a soaring takeoff into the rest of your day, into the rest of your dreams?

Journal Prompt #5: How can your morning routine mirror the unique rhythm of YOUR life?
Your mornings should ebb and flow with your life’s beat—not someone else’s. What personal elements can make your mornings feel 'oh-so-you'?

Journal Prompt #6: How can you infuse inspiration into your mornings?
What kindles that fire in your belly? Is it an empowering podcast? A sweat-dripping dance party? Or perhaps it’s the quiet whisperings of a good book?

Journal Prompt #7: What are some self-care rituals you can insert into your morning routine?
Whether it’s a hearty breakfast, a few stolen moments of solitude, meditation, or a love letter to yourself, self-care adds an essential layer of warmth to our mornings.




These prompts are here to guide you, but remember, there are no right or wrong answers here. Allow your pen to dance freely across your pages and your words to paint your dream mornings with strokes of honesty, passion, and grace. I promise you, once you start giving your morning routine the colour of your truth, every sunrise will feel like a personal celebration. 🎉🌅

Let's briefly talk about flexibility in this context, especially for all my fellow moms out there. Balancing career/business and family (not to mention those unexpected kiddo calamities at 6 AM!) can feel like juggling flaming torches while riding a unicycle—it's a heroic act of love, patience, and precision! Us wonder-women know all too well that each day can spin a different story, and we must twirl and shimmy to keep up with its rhythm.

That's why your morning routine needs to be as adaptable as you are, beautiful. Just like the seasons, our lives continually change, and our mornings should joyfully ebb and flow with these changes.🍃⏳





Flexibility is not about giving up on our morning moments. It's about giving them the freedom to evolve, to adapt, to seamlessly blend into our lives. It's about creating an empowering morning rhythm that can softly shift with our needs, responsibilities, and aspirations, without losing its magic. Think of it as your favorite comfy dress—it fits perfectly in all the right places, yet, it lets you breathe, move, and dance freely! 💃🕊️

My lovely friends, remember that creating an authentic morning melange isn’t a science experiment; it’s an art—it’s your art! So, grab your painter's palette, sketch your perfect sunrise with bold strokes of love, honesty, and flexibility. Happy building!
